As wedding videographers based in Roswell, Georgia, we love that our work takes us to amazing venues near and far. This November wedding at Drakewood Farm in Tennessee was one of those experiences that left us in awe. Hired to capture this special day on video, it was our first time visiting this stunning venue, and we can’t wait to return. Nestled in the forest, the ceremony site at Drakewood Farm is like stepping into a fairytale—twinkling lights, elegant mirrors, and natural beauty that extenuates the entire space.

A Ceremony Straight Out of a Storybook

The outdoor ceremony space was transformed into something magical. Twinkling lights wove through the surrounding trees, creating a soft, romantic glow, while a vintage chandelier floated above the altar. Wooden benches lined the aisle, and each bench end featured cut tree stumps topped with moss and glowing candles, setting the perfect enchanted atmosphere.

The bride made her grand entrance through an incredible antique door at the end of the aisle, the kind that looked like it was plucked straight from a storybook forest. It was a moment that took everyone’s breath away and perfectly set the tone for the heartfelt ceremony to come.

Heartfelt Moments to Remember

The day was filled with emotional moments, and two stood out as especially touching. The groom shared a first look with his mother that was both heartwarming and deeply meaningful. Later, the bride had a special reveal with her son, creating a bond and a memory that was so moving to witness.

The whole wedding party brought personality and fun to every moment. The ring bearers were a crowd favorite, dressed as secret service agents with sunglasses and earpieces, adding a playful twist to their important duties. Meanwhile, the flower girls embraced the day’s enchanted vibe, transforming into woodland fairies who sprinkled a little magic with every step down the aisle.

Unforgettable Celebrations Under the Stars

Drakewood Farm offers gorgeous backdrops at every turn, and we took full advantage to create some truly unique shots. As day turned to night, we ventured outside with the couple for a magical moment under a lit-up tree. The soft glow of the lights combined with the quiet stillness of the forest was a scene we won’t soon forget—it felt like capturing a dream.

The reception was filled with energy, joy, and creativity. One of the highlights was the bride and groom’s special choreographed dance, which was so fun to film and had everyone on their feet cheering them on. The laughter-filled speeches, the joyful dancing, and the vibrant energy throughout the night made for a celebration that perfectly reflected the couple’s personalities.
